General (Extras) Cover

Basic Mid Range Comprehensive

3 levels of General (Extras) cover is offered. Comprehensive – an extensive range of general treatments, Mid Range – a selected range of general treatments, or, Basic – a basic range of general treatments. Either of these can be selected alone or combined with hospital cover.

Federal Government Rebate

None 30%

The Federal Government Rebate provides a rebate of 30% on Private Health Insurance premiums. Higher rebates apply for members aged 65 years and over. (Please see disclaimer 4 below.) To qualify for the rebate, you must be eligible for Medicare benefits. There are 3 ways to claim the rebate – 1. Premium reduction, 2. Tax Rebate, 3. Cash payment from Medicare. If you choose to claim the rebate as a Tax Rebate or cash payment from Medicare, select the button ‘None’.

Payment Method

Cash/Cheque/BPAY Direct Debit

By selecting ‘Cash/Cheque/Bpay’ you would receive an account and you may select your preferred method of payment. When direct debit is selected, you will receive a 2.5% discount for automated debits from your bank, building society, credit union or credit card account. Please note: credit card payments incur a surcharge of 1% from 1 July 2010.

Fortnightly Monthly Quarterly Half-Yearly Yearly

Fortnightly payment frequency is not available if you elect to direct debit from a Credit Card account
