Has your dependant ceased studying or reached an age where they may no longer be covered by your TUH membership?
Dependent children are eligible to be covered on your TUH Family or Single Parent membership:
- until the age of 18 for all levels of cover, except for Ultimate Choice, Easy Choice and Active Choice where the age is extended to under 21 years;
- where they meet the Student Dependant criteria and are under age 25
Now may be a good time to discuss taking out health cover for themselves and the good news is that dependants may now join TUH in their own right!
If they join TUH within 2 months of ceasing cover on your membership and choose the same level of cover, they will not have to serve additional waiting periods.
WHY JOIN, they may ask? Here are just a few reasons why Private Health Insurance is a must:
- Gives you control of your own health and peace of mind
- Gives you more flexibility and choice when it comes to your treatment
- Means less waiting time for elective procedures
- Lets you choose your own doctor
- Provides access to the best-quality care
If your are on Ultimate Choice or Easy Choice covers and your dependant is over 21 years and not studying you may choose to purchase Extended Dependant Cover.
We encourage you or your dependant to contact TUH for more information about our products and services.
