The mission of Queensland Teachers' Union Health Fund Limited is to assist members of teacher unions and their families to achieve optimum health by providing a health insurance scheme and by encouraging positive health habits.

Board Committees Charters
Teachers’ Union Health is governed by a Board comprising of 10 members who are:-
Darcy Edwards (Chairman), Terry Burke (Deputy Chair), Kevin Brasch, Jeff Backen, Christine Cooper, Terri Hamilton, John Merrell, Stewart Jones, Sam Pidgeon and Charmaine Twomey. The Board has 4 Committees, which are the Audit & Risk Management Committee, the Business Strategy and Finance Committee, the Membership and Marketing Committee and the Nominations Committee.
The Board and Committees meet on a regular basis to set the strategic direction for the organisation and to oversee operational issues as detailed in the Board Governance Charter.
