What the proposed 2009 Federal Budget changes means to you? The Federal Government has confirmed the changes it is proposing for the private health insurance rebate and the Medicare Levy Surcharge in the latest budget.
When will this occur?
The proposed start date is 1st July 2010, but the proposed changes have not been approved by the Senate yet, and this process can be long and quite complex. We will keep you up to date on the matter.
